I got up with the chickens Tuesday morning to break ground on the new beds for the spring crops. The acre we're currently cultivating is divided up into quadrants, with one each going toward spring vegetables, summer vegetables, chicken pasture, and (in the future) goat pasture. Each year, the uses will rotate 90 degrees.
